Good commercial strategy, it invokes emotion and appeals to a niche through use of Eminem. Is Eminem the best spokes person for Detroit? Maybe for this niche, a Car and Driver says that the top competitors for the 200 are Camaro, Mustang, Mini and Eclipse; a young buyer’s car; making Eminem appropriate. The 200 has received outstanding reviews and earned four 2010 “Top Safety Picks” form the IIHS. Even with operations expanding overseas, in Motown cars are still what we do.
